2021 Carménère
These grapes are from Echo West Vineyard. The soil is Mazama Ash over broken basalt imparting satisfying minerality to it’s fruity character. This grape was thought to be extinct for over 100 years and was wonderfully rediscovered in isolated Chilé.
Savory on the plate, this distinct varietal has a medium body with an herbaceous finish. Fermented in one ton oak fermenters. 20% New French Oak
